About Us
Furniture Sir-Plus was founded over a quarter of a century ago by a poor working class man with a vision, a vision that every hard working American no matter what their standing in society or income level, should feel like a king when shopping and in their own home. He looked around and saw a world full of 2 types of stores: stores that give you great service and the respect you deserve but charge you an obscene amount of money that make them off limits to most hardworking people or those that value their money, and stores that sell you junk for cheap and give you bad service. He set out to change that, by founding a store that could provide ahuge selection of home furnishings and extremely personalized and high end customer service. It was a challenge. Finding the dozens and dozens of factories and distributors needed to put together the selection,quality and prices to meet his vision was the least of his problems, putting together a team of motivated experts was were the real challenge lay. But against all odds he succeeded and produced a store that went on to be voted #1 furniture store in Philadelphia by the readers of the Philadelphia Daily News. Furniture Sir-Plus has gone on to open to huge super centers in Philadelphia but we have never lost sight of our founders vision and we hope to continue giving you the service, selection and prices you truly deserve for many more years.
